01/15/17: sourdough bagels, 12-4PM kings roost, los angeles, CA
Learn how to make wild yeasted bagels and herbed cream cheese spread. Students will build a wild yeasted bagel dough featuring whole grains. We will go over weighing, shaping and poaching dough in different liquids to create the perfect bagel. We’ll use a variety of toppings before baking off our bagels to enjoy in class. Rose will also go over making flavored Schemers and building the perfect bagel sandwich.Students will go home with dough to practice their new skills! REGISTER AT THE KINGS ROOST.

LEARN HOW TO MAKE WILD YEASTED mothers. wild yeast mothers or sourdough starters are the basis for all naturally leavened breads, pastries and so much more. ROSE WILL ALSO GO OVER MAKING and building mothers based on a variety of grains.STUDENTS WILL GO HOME WITH multiple mothers TO PRACTICE THEIR NEW SKILLS! REGISTER AT THE KINGS ROOST.
