About the Artist
Mika G. Shannon is a Filipino American artist and illustrator based in Maryland. She is a lifelong learner and maker of art, falling in love with countless disciplines and materials since earning her Bachelor's degree in Studio Art from William & Mary. Printmaking, oil painting, glassblowing, stone carving, digital art, and weaving have all held her heart, allowing her to exercise her dexterity and hone her artistic eye.
