Cherry, Cherry Leaf Mascarpone & Mahleb - A whole Fruit Celebration!
Join chef and baker Rose Wilde for a slow Sunday morning in the garden celebrating the first cherries of the season alongside toasted hazelnuts, fragrant mahleb, herbs, and flowers.
Each participant will receive a fully stacked and crumb-coated 6-inch olive oil sonora chiffon cake filled with sour cherry jam, layered with whipped cherry leaf mascarpone, and finished with mahleb Swiss buttercream and an abundant table of seasonal garnishes. We’ll focus on composition and using fresh and preserved fruit, herbs, flowers, and contrasting textures to create a cake that feels dark, lush, and alive. We will explore Chef Rose Root to Blossom philosophy!
